Christmas Love
"Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: And knew her not til she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS." (Matthew 1: 23-25 KJV)
Tomorrow is Christmas Day and the children are very excited
because they know they will get to unwrap their presents in the morning. I
submit to you on the Authority of the Word of God that the children and all of
us should be this excited every day of our lives.
We will celebrate the Birthday of Jesus tomorrow, but every day we should
celebrate the Love of Jesus for us. If we wake up in the morning, then He has
given us another day to serve Him. We should be so excited that the King of
Kings and Lord of Lords Loves us. None of us are worthy of this Love that He
extends to us.
Parents, you need to live your lives with such excitement that your children
will ask you why you are so happy every day. We need to teach our children that
Jesus gives us Gifts every day. He gives us the bed we sleep on, the food that
we eat, the clothes that we wear, and the families and friends that we have.
If you don’t have this excitement every day when you wake up, then you have not
opened your heart to the Christ of Christmas. There is such joy and happiness in
serving my Best Friend, Jesus. Please open your heart and life to the Christ of
Christmas.
