Crash, Boom, Bang

A wise man built his house upon a rock and the rain came tumbling down. The
rain came down and the floods went up and the house on the rock stood firm.
How often as children at Sunday school , we sang these very words and now as
adults live this very promise. A promise of certainty of God’s nature that
is unchanging and is the same yesterday, today and forever more. It is a
promise of hope in the midst of turmoil, a promise of safety in times of fear, a
promise of love in times of rejection and a promise of companionship in times of
loneliness. Wisdom is gaining access into the very heart of God. The
heart of God depicts that upon this rock, he will build his church and the gates
of hell with not prevail against it. That rock which is Christ Jesus is
your sure foundation when your entire world goes crash ,boom, bang. The
uncertainty of times is a parallel contrast to the certainty of God.Emmanual,God
is with us and we will still stand.
Romans 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to
separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Height , depth, nor other creature all refer to the very limitations that govern
life in this world but God’s word here is eliminating all of these boundaries to
guarantee us of his unfailing measure of extreme love. I believe the world is
made up of many people looking for love. I believe many are rejected by their
very own and feel love is an estranged emotion. I believe the world has
many people who have suffered a crash, boom, bang experience that shattered the
very epitome of all they worked for. Today when you make God your world,
no upheaval or shift will alter your ground.
You will still stand, you will still rise above, you will still soar, you will
still have hope, you will still have joy, you will still have peace and you will
still be the victor. You will walk and shall not faint, you will run and
not grow weary and you will rise up with wings as eagles. I am amazed at
how when nests are torn apart by storms, birds rebuilt and move on.
There is no certainty of anything these days. Mankind sees no value in
life, marriage, family, morality and relationships so when else around us is
uncertain, God is certain. God does not forget about us or even miss us
out. He knows the very hairs that are on our head. He knows our name
and the very blueprint of our life. He causes us to be immovable. Do not
lose heart or grow impatient or even weary, God acts in his own time. Be
sure of your foundation because in the beating of the storm and the drenching of
the floods, arise and shine for the glory of God is upon you.
Crash, boom, bang and the house on the rock stood firm!
