My Next 40 Years
"and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God." (Eph 5:2 NIV)
I was looking at the calendar the other day and noticed that my 40th
birthday is just a few months off now. I did a quick peek over each shoulder
to see if that dreaded mid-life crisis was trying to sneak up on me. I
didn’t see a sight of him anywhere, and I doubt that he will show up at all.
Yes, I have made more than my share of mistakes in my past that I am sorry
for. My past, though, got me to where I am today. It made me who I am now. I
can’t change it. I can only learn from it and use it to better live the time
I have left. By: Joseph J. Mazzella
