Prayer has no Limit

"This is the confidence we have in approaching God:
that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we
know that he hears us--whatever we ask--we know that we have what we asked
of him." (1 John 5:14,15)
Every teaspoon of water is packed full of atomic
energy equivalent to burning three-hundred gallons of gasoline. That's
enough energy to drive you across the United States and back!
Now, imagine the vast ocean which covers 75% of our world. How many
teaspoons of water do you suppose are floating around in all that ocean?
That amount of energy seems almost limitless! We realize, of course, that
even this energy has a theoretical limit. When God poured that much energy
into those vast oceans, His power didn't decrease even by the smallest
fraction! That's because God has no limits. When you pray, you touch the
very hand of God who holds that kind of power.
In every drop of water, there are about four-hundred million molecules of
water. How many drops of water do you suppose are in the vast oceans of the
world?
God knows what that number is! In fact, God even knows the history and the
future of each of those tiny molecules. He knows where each one has been,
where each one is right now, and where each one will be. God knows all of
that simply because His knowledge has no limits. When you pray, you touch
the mind of God; who holds that kind of knowledge, without limit.
A mother's love will pay any price, endure any burden, and suffer any pain
(for as long as it takes) in order to benefit her child. God created that
kind of love in a mortal mother with very definite limits. God's love has no
limit. He paid a limitless price by sacrificing the life and comfort of His
only Son. When you pray, you touch the heart of God who demonstrated that
kind of limitless love.
The absolutely amazing truth is that, when you pray, your prayers really do
have no limits.
