My Love
I have compared thee, O my love, to a company of horses in Pharaoh's chariots. Behold, thou art fair, my love; behold, thou art fair; thou
hast doves' eyes. so is my love among the daughters. I charge you, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes, and by the hinds of the field, that ye stir not up, nor
awake my love, till he please. the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my
fair one, and come away. by the roes, and by the hinds of the field, that ye stir not up, nor
awake my love, till he please. thou hast doves' eyes within thy locks: thy hair is as a flock of goats, that appear from mount Gilead. Thou art all fair, my
love; there is no spot in thee. as Jerusalem, terrible as an army with banners. I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem, that ye stir not up, nor
awake my love, until he please. continue ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's
commandments, and abide in his love.
