The Sweetest Name
Lord, your name is music to my ears, As sweet as drops of honey on my tongue, Just as fresh as the raindrops on a flower And as vibrant as the
bright and morning sun. I will shout it from the rooftops and the streets. I shall say it to the lost and undone sinners; Telling it to everyone
I meet. And lift it higher than the stars up in the sky. I will tell them of Your grace and tender mercy, And how they can live
forever; by and by. Place it on a pedestal so high, Tell it to the children and their mothers; Soaring like an eagle
in the sky. More valuable than rubies, gold, or pearls; So soft that the song birds stop to listen To the sweetest name
and voice in all the world. Poetry by Vickie Lambdin Treasured Thoughts Vickie is a Heavenly Inspirations Author. This writing may be used in its entirety, with credits in tact, for non-profit ministering purposes. |
