Growing Old
It's no fun when you're old and gray,
No one wants to listen to what you have to say.
You can't get around the way you used to do,
You must depend on others the whole day through.
It isn't so very funny, just you wait and see,
You may end up in a wheelchair just like me.
So be a little kinder to us old folk with our needs,
God will surely bless you for all your kindly deeds.
