Be Thankful
Be thankful if you have apparel, And shoes to wear upon your feet. Be grateful for your humble shelter, And for the food you
have to eat. That suffer, and have to do without. The basic things we take for granted, Like clean water from
our water spout. Who have no clothes, or shoes to wear. No place to call home and are on starvation, With their bodies weak
and their cupboards bare. Thank the Lord that you are blessed. Give Him due thanks and daily praise, Let His love and
wisdom discern the rest. And clothes the lilies in the spring. He takes them in His loving arms, And nurtures them
beneath His wings. Let us be therewith
content.
