Children Are A Blessing
Children are a blessing;
A God-send from above.
They fill our lives with happiness
And surround our homes
with love.
Children are so precious.
They bring us peace and joy;
Whether it's a little girl, adorned in pink,
Or a precious baby
boy.
The Lord says, "Blessed are the children;
When they come to me in prayer,
With folded hands on bended knees,
Because they know I'll
meet them there."
He said, "Suffer the little children to come unto me
Because theirs is the kingdom of God."
They will one day see the lion lie down with the lamb,
Where the Holy Angels
have trod.
The Lord loves all little children;
Everyone is a precious gem.
Both big and small, or short and tall,
Each one belongs to
Him.
