He is Risen Easter
My Lord Jesus Christ died on that cross
He was stoned and beaten and never did He boast
That He was dying that you and I may not be lost
He Is Risen
Three days laters two Mary's went to the grave
He was not there and they were not brave
They ran to others to tell what they saw
He Is Risen
Oh how thankful I am this day That I believe with all my heart
That my Lord Jesus knew from the start
What He came to do and it was for me
He Is Risen
May this Easter I invite you to see
That you can be saved and He will live in you
Because of the day that we call Easter
He Is Risen
Ask Him to forgive you of all of your sins
Come into your heart then your life will begin
To take on meaning like never before -
Because He Is Risen
