Christ is our Comforter
"Blessed be the God
and Father of our
Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and
God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our
affliction so that we will be able to comfort
those who are in any affliction with the comfort
with which we ourselves are comforted by God."
~2 Corinthians 1:3-4~
He is our comforter. I have felt His touch and his embrace, when I have been
blue,
I have felt the comfort of His words, when He says, "I love you,"
I have felt His healing touch, when wracked with pain.
And when He brought me health again.
I praise Jesus Christ and strive to spread His comfort to all,
We all need to have our voice heard when in pain we call.
Man may give a measure of comfort to you,
But Jesus is the only one, who can make your heart new.
