My Prayer
To see the children grow in grace, To look the whole world in the face, To leave a path others can trace, This is my prayer. To comfort the infirm and old. To spend myself, but not for gold, This is my prayer. To lead from failure to success, For every wrong to seek redress, This is my prayer. To laugh, to sing, to banish strife, To heed the wisdom that regulates, To harmonise with associates: To seek God's presence, know His nature, To experience the loving that transcends rapture, This is my prayer. |
