(The words of this poem were written to be sung to the tune of "You are my Sunshine"...)
You are my Sonshine, my only Sonshine,
You make me happy when skies
I want to tell You how much I love You,
shines on me each and every day!
The other night Lord, when You
You said to get up and to pray;
Pray for the sick folks,
the poor and lonely,
And remember them every day.
As I go forth Lord, I want to please You,
To follow all You do
Visit my neighbor, and those with troubles,
them in all Your ways.
As I await Lord, Your
I am thrilled by Your care and l;
I know You'll
show me, when I am ready,
And endue me with might from above.
