Praise and Worship and The Move of the Lord
Please read Psalm 50, prayerfully and with an open heart.
FACTS: There is a great move of God going on all over the world at this time -
along with a great persecution of the Saints all over the world. They say there
is more persecution of Christians going on across the face of this earth than at
any other time in history - even Roman times. I know there are more people on
the earth today (more people = more to be persecuted; that's what I was told by
a friend yesterday; she is not a believer) but I mean percentage wise. And the
persecution is growing stronger and more intense every day.
At the same time, there seems to be such a proliferation of Praise music,
Worship poems and songs; every message's subject I hear, it seems, whether on TV,
radio or in churches, is on worship, holiness, thanksgiving, many times using as
lyrics actual authentic scripture quotations.
Now I know that some of these Christian music groups (and even some of the
Preachers) are in it for the money only but, regardless, the DEMAND from the
citizens of earth is there. Therefore, it is being MET, however the Lord chooses
to meet this demand, even through wrongly-motivated individuals and/or groups.
There appears to be such a hunger, a need in people to KNOW HIM, to KNOW THE
LORD.
THIS IS THE WORD I RECEIVED: This Praise and Worship is being perpetrated all
over this planet as a defense to fortify Believers/Remnant, worldwide, against
the great onslaught from the Prince of the Power of the Air already underway. We
are going to need this defence desperately within the next few years. Our
spiritual lives will depend on it! (Cassie Burnell is an example of one of the
first Christian martyrs in this country. There are more to come!) We may even be
called this way ourselves, but we will be fortified by His grace and power
through the Holy Spirit if we continue in true Praise and Worship and
Glorification of the Father (Creator God, our precious Abba Father) and the Son
(our Blessed Redeemer, Holy God, Lord, Lamb of God, Advocate), and the Holy
Spirit (our Comforter and Exhorter), never ceasing in our Thanksgiving to this
Most Holy God - three in one!
So if the motivation of the groups or preachers is not "pure and righteous",
little does it matter: whoever is not for us is against us (Jesus said it!). If
the Praise and Worship and Glorification of Jesus resulting from the efforts of
these people bolsters and helps the Christians to fortify themselves against the
Enemy with their Weapons of Warfare so generated - so be it! We are to keep on
praising and glorifying and worshiping and thanking and obeying God (Father, Son
and Holy Spirit) for everything in all circumstances.
As we do this, we will be able to repel all the arrows and ammunition that the
enemy throws at us - possibly even unto death (physical).
Prophecy will be fulfilled: No evil weapon formed against us shall prosper.
"Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be
none to deliver: Whoever offers praise glorifies Me; And to him who orders his
conduct aright, I will show the salvation of God." Ps. 50: 22, 23.
"For He is like a refiner's fire...He will sit as a refiner and a purifier. He
will purify the sons of Levi...That they may offer...an offering of
righteousness." Malachi: 2, 3
