He has Room for You
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you
rest.” (Matthew 11:28 KJV)
I have received several emails in the last three months from people who are
discouraged and heartbroken. Just as there is room at the cross for people to be
saved, so there is room to come to Jesus for rest and encouragement. When Jesus
was here on earth, He too grew weary and was heartbroken.
For many years, I tried to do things by myself. I was too proud to admit that I
needed help. One day, God spoke to my heart and said “You don’t have to bear
your burdens by yourself”. Now when I am discouraged and heartbroken, I run to
Jesus and ask Him to comfort and encourage me.
If you have been smiling but in your heart you are hurting and discouraged,
allow Jesus to comfort and encourage you. Then when you smile it will come from
your heart. Jesus is waiting for you to come to Him so He can encourage you. He
loves you so much.
Heavenly Father, thank You for sharing Your beloved Son with us. Jesus, how I
appreciate You. Every day You encourage me and You comfort me when I need
comforting. You are worthy to be praised and adored. Thank You for loving us and
for comforting us and encouraging us. Amen.
