Getting Ready for Easter
As I was getting the clean clothes out of the dryer, I was thinking, I like to get the clothes out of the dryer right away, they are ready to be fold, and they are nice and warm, specially in winter time, I live in Ohio and I am always cold.
In the same way It came to my
mind, this is how the Lord want us to get ready our
hearts for Easter. We have to ask the Lord to clean our
hearts from all sin, we have to ask our Lord and Savior
to wash our hearts with his Precious Blood that HE shed on
the cross for us for the forgiveness of our sins.
Would you put dirty clothes
on Easter Sunday? NO! We want to look our best, and we
want our children to look the best too.
We can't come on Easter
morning with a dirty heart, full of sin, the same way
we like to get beautiful clothes for Easter; that's the
way our Lord wants our hearts to look like, Beautiful
inside and Beautiful outside, clean.
We have to come to the Lord
with a rejoicing heart, Because he save us from our
sins, He shed His blood on Calvary to wash our sins away
to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
He defeat death when he rose
again from the death on the third day, and came out
triumphed and victorious.
Dear Heavenly Father, I ask
you with all of my heart that you will get our hearts
ready for Easter Sunday, that we will be able to
appreciate the sacrifice that you did on the cross for us
to Save us from our iniquities and our sin, because we
are sinful by nature.
I pray to you with all of my
heart. Amen
