Leaving it all at the Tree

Greetings in Messiah's love:

Being well acquainted with sports and its terminology; there is an expression used for an athlete who gives every ounce of energy and dedication to the sport. They say he or she left everything on the field or ice. That's what Yeshua/Jesus did for the world. He left everything He physically and mentally had at the tree for our victory. Heb 12:2 2 "Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." (NIV) 1 Cor 15:57 57 "But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." (NIV)

He asks us to do the same: Mark 8:34 34 Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me." (NIV)

Are you ready to leave everything you have at the tree? That's the commitment every believer needs to ask first and foremost. This mini message is not aimed at self condemning oneself; but rather to refocus with zeal one's priority in life to our Lord.

In His service,

Allan
