The Fifth Degree

In the old detective stories the detectives would bring a suspect in. then one of the detectives would say to another one, "Give him the fifth degree."  That man would then start asking the suspect who, what, when, where, why and how. Now I am going to give the psalmist the fifth degree.

Psalm 150 (NASB95)

What are we supposed to do?
(vs 1) Praise  the Lord !


Where are we supposed to do this?
(vs 3b) Praise God in His a sanctuary ;
Praise Him in His mighty expanse .

 

Why should we do this?
(vs 2) Praise Him for His a mighty deeds;                                                                                       Praise Him according to His excellent greatness .


How do we praise god?
(vs 3) Praise Him with a trumpet sound; Praise Him with b harp and lyre .
(vs 4) Praise Him with a timbrel and dancing;  Praise Him with b stringed instruments and pipe .
(vs 5) Praise Him with loud a cymbals;
Praise Him with resounding cymbals .


Who is supposed to do this?
(vs 6) Let a everything that has breath praise 1 the Lord.

Praise the Lord !
