The
Spirit in Us

Exod 4:12: "Now go; I
will help you speak and will teach you what to say." (NIV)
Luke 12:12: "for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that
time what you should say." (NIV)
If ever there were two verses that spoke so definitively of
the fact that Yeshua/Jesus is the God of the Torah; these
two are this. In the first; the God of Abraham, Isaac and
Jacob instructs the great Jewish prophet Moses and in the
second; Yeshua/Jesus instructs His disciples the exact
message. The Holy Spirit is discussed in the Tenakh as well
as the New Testament.
Ps 51:11: "Do not cast me from your presence or take your
Holy Spirit from me." (NIV)
We as believers have the Holy Spirit to speak through us the
same way as did Moses. God left Moses in the wilderness for
40 years to cleanse him of Egypt or the world and its ways.
This way he was an empty, cleansed vessel to be filled with
the Holy Spirit to be used by God. Our wilderness time is a
time to empty us of the world or past ways so as to be
filled by the Holy Spirit to be used by God. His preparation
time is detailed and often difficult; however the
adversities of the wilderness do not compare to the work He
has planned for us and the glory in His name. Think of it as
boot camp preparing us for the spiritual and worldly battles
for souls. Rom 8:18 "I consider that our present
sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will
be revealed in us." (NIV)
We have the greatest gift given to man; the Holy Spirit!
God, Himself abiding in us. John 17:26 "I have made you
known to them, and will continue to make you known in order
that the love you have for me may be in them and that I
myself may be in them." (NIV)
So whatever adversity you are facing today; consider the
fact that the living God is in you and will speak through
you in all situations with wisdom power and love. 2 Tim 1:7:
"For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a
spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline." (NIV)
When you wake up tomorrow; go with this knowledge that you
have these resources inside yourself. Go with humility,
confidence and above all the love that is from above knowing
you received your victory 2000 years ago on that tree. You
are chosen by the creator of this world for a purpose. John
15:16: "You did not choose me, but I chose you and
appointed you to go and bear fruit-- fruit that will last.
Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name."
(NIV); and II Th 2:13: "But we ought always to thank God
for you, brothers loved by the Lord, because from the
beginning God chose you to be saved through the sanctifying
work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth." (NIV)
Father: I pray that the revelation of who, these brothers
and sisters reading this, are, will penetrate every fiber of
their being and encourage them through the wilderness time;
to strengthen them in their ordeals and to take them to
their destinies with the knowledge that: I Jn 4:4 --
"You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them,
because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is
in the world." (NIV)
Rejoice in this truth because Yeshua/Jesus overcame for you
that day. John 16:33: "I have told you these things, so
that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have
trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." (NIV)
I loose the presence of the Holy Spirit on every person
reading this to fill them with peace, comfort, hope and the
strength to fight the good fight for their souls and the
salvation of those they will touch in Yeshua/Jesus' name.
Amen!!
