Walking by Faith

When a plane is flying through a storm, the pilot cannot see much so he relies on his instrumentation to guide him.  In the same way we rely on the Holy Spirit to guide us through our storms because we can only see what is in front of us as does the pilot.  He cannot see the calm beyond the storm and neither can we.

In essence he has put his entire trust in the instruments as do we in the Holy Spirit if we walk by faith.

Now why does he believe and trust in those instruments.  Because they have been proven to be reliable through many tests and documentation.

In the same way we believe because of the reliability of many tests not only shown in the bible but in our own personal walk as well.  The documentation aspect is revealed in God's word where we have seen God's love, faithfulness, mercy, grace and reliability through many characters.

So just as the pilot lets go of self and relies entirely on the instruments; we too must let go of self and rely on God.

2 Cor 1:9:  "Indeed, in our hearts we felt the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead."

Father: I come behind the curtain by the blood of the Lamb with deep reverence and love.  I thank You for choosing us as children and joint heirs of Yeshua (Jesus).  I thank You for the blood that gives us access into the throne of grace to commune with the Maker of the universe.  I lift up to You all who read this message and ask for a revelation of Your presence in our lives and the guidance we receive by Your Holy Spirit daily.

I ask that You reveal that even when we are unfaithful to You, You are to us because of Your nature.  In the name of Yeshua, I loose a mighty presence of the Holy Spirit on all reading this, that the moment the words enter their minds, Your presence would be felt like an electrical jolt in their bodies from head to toe to assure them of the presence of the Holy Spirit in their lives.  I thank You now for the exhortation Your Ruach (Holy Spirit) will provide this coming week to all in Yeshua's mighty name.

Heb 11:1: "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see."

Amen!
