Jesus was Upset

"And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them. But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them." (Mark 10:13-16 KJV)

I have heard people make the comment, "As soon as I stop drinking, smoking, and cursing, then I will ask Jesus to save me". I submit to you on the Authority of the Word of God that you will never be clean enough for Jesus. The Bible says, "But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags." ( Isaiah 64:6)

Our money and possessions do not impress Him; what touches His Heart is the condition of our heart. He is not interested in our titles that we strive so hard to achieve through education. When we go to Him in prayer He does not call us by the titles that others call us by, He calls us by our name.

Parents, if you are keeping your children from attending church just because you don’t go, Jesus is very displeased with you. One day, you will stand before Him and give an account to Him for what you did to your children.

If your children are grown and have already left home, it is not too late for you to set an example for them and for your grandchildren. Don’t send them to church; take them to church.
