Only One

"All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out" (John 6: 37  KJV)

God is only obligated to hear one prayer, the sinner's prayer. Sometimes, I think we treat Him like He is a puppet. We expect Him to jump at our command. God is not a name and claim it God!

If you are a parent you know that if your children are disobedient, you are not going to give them what they want. It is the same with God. How dare you and I ask God for anything when we treat Him the way we do!

When we say unkind words to one another, or do something to hurt someone, we are hurting the Heart of Jesus. O' that we would treat others with the Love of Jesus! We get our feelings hurt when someone says critical words to us, but do we say critical words to someone else?

If we really are concerned about someone, then we need to pray for that person. Only Jesus can change a person's heart, and our words of criticism might turn that person away from serving Jesus.
