Tell Jesus
"Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one
that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth
not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward
us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might
live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he
loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved,
if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen
God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his
love is perfected in us." (1 John 4: 7-12 KJV)
My parakeet sometimes will not come to me when I call her. However,
every time I say, "Momma loves you, Baby. You're such a pretty
bird", she flies to me immediately. However, if I only told her I
loved her when I wanted her to do something, she would ignore me.
How often do you tell your children, your spouse, your parents, your
relatives, and friends that you love them? Do you ever tell them that
you love them? A man once told me, "I don't have to tell my wife
that I love her. She already knows that because I asked her to marry
me."
What if Jesus never said He Loves us? What if He just expected us to
know He Loves us because He died for us? I don't know about you, but if
I didn't hear Jesus tell me daily that He Loves me then it would be a very
difficult and sad day.
Do you ever tell Jesus you love Him? If so, how often do you tell Him?
He desires our fellowship and yearns to talk with us. Please don't break
the Heart of Jesus by not telling Him that you love Him.
