What Joy
"Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they
also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him.
Even so, Amen." (Rev. 1:7 KJV)
My sister and brother-in-law are coming over today and I am happy and excited
because I love them. However, anything could happen to prevent them from coming.
One day, Jesus is coming back and the joy and happiness that brings to me is
impossible to describe! One day, I am going to be able to see Jesus face to
face. One day, all sorrow and pain that I have on this earth will all fade away.
There is a song that says, "IT WILL BE WORTH IT ALL WHEN WE SEE
JESUS".
There are no questions about Jesus coming back. Nothing can happen to prevent
His return. The question we need to ask ourselves is "Am I ready"?
While I have an approximate time that my family is going to be here today, we
have no idea when Jesus is coming back. We will not be able to prepare and be
ready when He comes. It will be too late.
Are you ready to meet Jesus when He returns? If not, then I urge you to get
ready even as you read this and realize that there is not going to be any time,
not even one minute, to prepare for Him when He returns. There is nothing in
this life that should take precedence over being sure that you are in right
standing with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
