A Family Reunion

“For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man.” (Ephesians 3:14-16 KJV)

There are families who have a family reunion every year and everyone is happy and excited to see each other. Then the reunion is over and everyone has to leave to go back to their homes. Sadness invades our hearts and the tears flow. We know that it will probably be another year before we see each other again.

One day, there is going to be the biggest family reunion that the world has ever known. When Jesus comes back for us, we will be with Him for eternity and we will also be reunited with our families and loved ones who have gone to be with Him. We will see our dear mother and dad, sister and brother and all of our relatives who have already gone to be with Jesus. We will never have to say goodbye or be parted again.

We will also be with our brothers and sisters in Christ. We will be one family with one purpose to praise and worship the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. It is of great importance and urgent that we bring our unsaved family to Jesus by the way we live our lives. We can tell them that Jesus Loves them, but if we are not kind and loving to them, they are not going to believe us.

Are you going to be at the greatest family reunion that the world has ever known? Have you made your reservation for Heaven through the atoning blood and forgiveness of Jesus? Have you said yes to the Christ of Calvary?
