God's Peacemakers

"Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God." (Matthew 5:9 KJV)

We are living in a time that is filled with so much hate and violence that we desperately need to have God’s Peace. We may temporarily find peace in a bottle of alcohol, in drugs, or by fulfilling the lust of the flesh. However, that peace does not last.

When people look at the way you are living and hear the things you are saying, are they seeing and hearing the Peace of Jesus, or are they seeing and hearing the turmoil and violence of satan? We need to be doing and saying things that are so loving and filled with compassion that other people will want what we have.

When Jesus looks at your life, is He calling you His Peacemaker? Are you doing the best you can with the help of Jesus to maintain the Peace of Jesus in your home? Do your children see the Peace and Love of Jesus in your actions and words?
