Jesus Cares
“But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.” (Psalms 40:17 KJV)
Many times we think that no one cares or thinks about us. The Bible says that Jesus thinks about us. When we were in need of a Saviour to save us from sin and the punishment that we deserved, Jesus thought about us and walked that long, lonely hill to Calvary.
Jesus thought about the thief that was hanging on the other side of Him, and said “Today thou shalt be with Me in Paradise.” He thinks about us when we are in pain and sorrow. He thinks about us when we are happy and rejoicing.
When I think about the King of Kings and Lord of Lords thinking about me, I am in awe. Jesus, the One Who is Worthy to be praised, takes time to think about us. What a Beautiful Saviour and Friend I have!
If you don’t know this Wonderful, Awesome Jesus, then I urge you to get to know Him. You may be saved, but do you really know Him? Do you know how His heart breaks when we hurt other people? Do you realize how much He misses you when you don’t talk to Him every day?
Yes, Jesus thinks about us. The question we need to ask ourselves is “Do we think about Him”? If we do think about Him, what are we doing and saying to show our love to Him?
