Make Room

"And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head." (Matthew 8:20 KJV)

Christmas is the Celebration of the Birth of Jesus. There will be parties, family and friends gathering together, gifts, and a lot of delicious food to eat. Please make room for Jesus in the midst of all these activities.

We have allowed the real meaning of Christmas to be lost. All of us need to stop and reflect on the Baby that was born in a manger for us. This Precious Baby grew up and gave His life for us so that we can have our sins forgiven and be with Him for Eternity.

Have you made room for Jesus in your heart? Have you allowed Him to clean out all the bitterness, envy, anger, hurt and jealousy from your heart? Jesus didn’t have a place to lay His head when He was on earth. We need to allow Him to lay His Head in our hearts.

Last Christmas before I did anything, I read the Christmas Story from Luke aloud to my parakeet. You may think that’s crazy, but she is very smart. While I was reading, she cocked her head and listened. Then when I started singing, she started singing too.

Please make room for Jesus on Christmas Day. Without Jesus, there would be no Christmas. Give Him a special gift by spending time with Him. It will make Him happy.
