He is Always There

“Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and,
lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” (Matthew 28:
20 KJV)
Jesus has promised us that He will always be with us. He said “lo, I am with
you alway, even unto the end of the world.” What a precious promise from the
heart of Jesus! He is always there for us no matter what happens or how many
heartaches and trials we have in our lives. Jesus has also given us another very
special and exciting promise. It is a promise that we can cling to no matter how
many poisonous darts satan hurls at us.
It is also a promise that should give us happiness, excitement, joy and the
determination and desire to keep going even in the midst of criticism, sarcasm
and judgment. It should put happiness in our hearts even if we are rejected and
scorned by our own families. Jesus knows how it feels to be rejected, scorned,
criticized and judged. He understands how much it hurts when people say and do
mean things to us.
He said “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in
me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told
you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I
will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be
also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know” (Matthew 14: 1 - 4).
One glorious and wonderful day, our precious Saviour is going to come back for
us with a victorious shout.
Not only is Jesus here with us on earth; He will be with us in Heaven for all
eternity! We will live with Him forever and there will be no more tears or
sorrows. How I long for that day when I shall have the privilege of seeing my
precious Saviour face to face. I get excited just thinking about seeing the One
who loved me so much that He died for me. It is hard for me to grasp in my heart
that He loves me because nobody ever told me that I was loved until He told me
that He loved me on August 14, 1980. However, I know that He does love me and
that He loves me unconditionally. Thank You, Jesus, for loving me and for never
leaving me. I love You with all of my heart and I appreciate all that You have
done for me. Indeed, You are wonderful and altogether lovely!
For those of us who have asked Him to forgive us for our sins and have His
cleansing atoning blood applied to our hearts for the forgiveness of our sins,
it will be a wonderful day of rejoicing. For those who have never asked Jesus to
forgive them for their sins and invited Him into their hearts, they will be left
behind. That will be a horrible day for them. There is an urgency to tell others
about our Saviour and His unconditional love for them. We should pray daily for
our loved ones who haven’t invited Jesus into their hearts to be their personal
Saviour.
Will you be able to go with Jesus when He returns for us or will you be left
behind? If His blood has not been applied to your heart for the forgiveness of
your sins, you will be left behind. Have you humbled yourself and admitted that
you are a sinner? Don’t worry about what your family and friends will say about
you if you walk down the aisle at church during the invitation time. They may
call you a “religious do gooder” as I was called. Instead, you need to be
concerned about what Jesus thinks about you. Give your heart and life to Jesus
today before it is too late!
