No Nursery for Jesus

“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is
Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe
wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.” (Luke 2: 11, 12 KJV)
I watched a wonderful, tender and heart moving family program on television. It
was about a young couple who were very much in love with one another. They were
so excited because the doctor had told them that they were going to have a baby.
The expectant parents immediately started remodeling a room in the house to be
used as the nursery for their baby.
As I watched the parents lovingly decorate the nursery, I thought about Jesus.
Mary and Joseph couldn’t decorate a nursery for Him because He was born in a
manger. Think about it, no one had room for the Saviour of the world when He was
born. The sad thing is that even today some people don’t have room for Him in
their hearts. I think Mary cried because her Son was born in a manger.
Have you made room for Jesus in your heart? I pray with all of my heart that you
have opened the door to your heart and invited Jesus in to be your personal
Saviour. If you haven’t, please don’t wait another hour. Open the door to your
heart and invite Jesus into your heart to be your personal Saviour. He loves you
so much, so much that He died for you on a cruel cross of horror and agony.
Please don’t let His suffering be in vain. Say “yes” to Jesus today!
